The Challenge
HorizonX had a work-in-progress site on Wix that couldn't keep up with their ambition. Wix boxed them into rigid templates with no room for custom design, and its messy HTML output made clean, SEO-friendly markup hard to achieve, quietly capping their search visibility. They needed a site that looked as modern as the brand they were building, and a platform that wouldn't fight their growth. So they came to us to migrate to Webflow and design it properly from the ground up.
Our Approach
We treated this as a brand-first rebuild, not just a platform move. Starting from HorizonX's existing logo, we used its color as the primary brand color and built a full palette around it, the hardest and most rewarding part of the project. The result is a modern, complementary, and soothing palette that finally matches the brand's personality. We structured the site around alternating light and dark sections, with signature horizontal cuts between them, a distinctive layout device that gives HorizonX a look that's unmistakably theirs.
The Build
Over two months we designed and built the full site in Webflow:
- 12 static pages and 6 CMS-powered pages, so the team can grow content without touching code.
- A custom brand system - color palette, layout rhythm, and the horizontal-cut sections, designed from the ground up around their logo.
- Custom graphics, imagery, and video produced in-house to bring each section to life.
- Subtle, purposeful animations that keep the site interactive while staying professional.
- HubSpot integration powering forms and chatbot, wiring leads straight into their pipeline.
- Clean, semantic markup for the SEO foundation Wix couldn't deliver.
The Impact
HorizonX launched with a site that finally looks like the brand they've been building, modern, distinctive, and unmistakably their own. The standout result is the brand identity itself: a cohesive color system and signature layout that set them apart in their space. Beyond the visuals, they moved off Wix's constraints onto a clean, SEO-ready Webflow foundation with a CMS the marketing team now runs themselves, we walked them through editing and publishing content directly, so they're no longer dependent on a developer to ship updates.
